Effect of Organic Ecological Soilless Culture Substrate on Tomato Fruit

نویسندگان

چکیده

Based on agricultural biomass resources and utilization in Shaanxi province, this experiment used decomposing mushroom residues, pine needles, peanut shells compounded with river sand as organic cultivation substrates, compared garden soil, carried out pot experiments to study the effect of different soilless substrates tomato yield, size number. The results show that CK1 (garden soil) CK2 (decomposed fungus residue: = 1:1, volume ratio), yield greenhouse T5 needles: shells: 1:1:1:1, ratio) can be significantly improved; under same amount decomposed residue sand, adding has a better than needles; treatments have little average height fruit, but greater cross diameter fruit.

effect of different substrates on tomato production in soilless culture

abstract this study was performed in order to determine a suitable alternative substrate for peat in soilless culture in 2007. different plant wastes including carbonized rice hull, saw dust and dry pine leaves (pinus eldarica) were examined. treatments were 100% peat as control, peat plus dry pine leaves (1:1 v/v), peat plus carbonized rice hull (1:1 v/v) and peat plus saw dust (1:1 v/v). the ...

Fungal Disinfection by Nanofiltration in Tomato Soilless Culture

Principally, plants grown in soilless culture may be attacked by the same pests and diseases as cultivated traditionally in soil. The most destructive phytopathogens are fungi, such as Phythium, Phytophthora and Fusarium, followed by viruses, bacteria and nematodes. We investigated effect of carbon nanotube filters on disease management of soilless culture. Tomato seedlings transplant in plasti...

Effect of salinity on tomato fruit ripening.

Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill) plants from various cultivars growing on half-strength Hoagland solution were exposed at anthesis to 3 or 6 grams per liter NaCl. Salinity shortened the time of fruit development by 4 to 15%. Fruits of salt-treated plants were smaller and tasted better than did fruits of control plants. This result was obtained both for ripe fruits tested on the day of pick...
